We have had the first 150 children's profiles completed and are now working to get each of these children sponsored through a family who is ready to sacrifice $34/month ($1/day) for them. And as we get these fully sponsored, we will work on the next 150 children.
Join us as we love community on community (our community loving the Warancha community) The harvest is ripe though the laborers seem few.
Through HopeChest, you will also have the opportunity to write your child and send them pictures. And if so desire you can even GO and meet them in person as we take in teams to love them. You can have true, genuine relationship with your child and indeed, change the direction of their lives by your small sacrifice.
Our first trip into Warancha is being scheduled and planned as we speak. It's looking as though February/March 2012 will be our Go month. It will be led by my amazing hubby, Doug Martine and Juree Williams of Children's HopeChest. This trip is also a trailblazing trip as it will be the first trip for the Children's HopeChest and Visiting Orphans partnership. We hope you will join us. You have plenty of time to start saving ... and I promise, if he's calling you ... he'll provide! If you are indeed interested in that trip, (and you don't have to be sponsoring a child), let me know and I'll be sure as soon as the trip goes up on the VO calendar, we notify you first!
